Woman wanted for outstanding warrants in SC jumps from moving car during chase, deputies say
A woman who was wanted by deputies in Pickens County, South Carolina, jumped from a moving car during a pursuit, according to deputies.
Deputies said they were called to the Stop-A-Minit convenience store on Liberty Highway in search of Nikki Elisha Harrison, who was wanted for multiple outstanding arrest warrants.
They found Harrison at the store but they say she left in a vehicle when deputies arrived.
Deputies chased Harrison, who they say leaped from the vehicle while still in motion on Highway 88.
Harrison was arrested and had enough methamphetamine to be charged with intent to distribute, deputies said.
She was also charged with driving under suspension, failure to stop for blue light, and numerous outstanding arrest warrants, deputies said.
