Ok, here we go. I have wanted to do this for quite some time.

What if the IAI Lavi had not been killed by politics in the early 80's. What if the F-16, due to continued glitches in it's FBW system, was not the export success that it is today???

Here we go: IDF, 2015-ish offensive against the Syrian / Russian Air Force, sends it's Lavi "C" fighters into the fray, against SU-27-ish aircraft, in the skies above the Golan Heights, to defend the border... 

Ok, the base for this What-If is the Trumpeter J-10B. Imagine that the Lavi "C" was a lengthened, heavier version of the small-ish lightweight, fighter that IAI had dreamed up. Powered by the ubiquitous F110 engine and lengthened by a few feet.... and so it begins...

Sounds interesting!
