Ruh-roh!: Would you pay $22,000 for a Scooby Doo van?

Would you pay $22,000 for a Scooby Doo van? A buyer recently did at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas earlier this month.

Maybe it made them a hit with their kids. Actually, as nerdy as this old 1965 Form Econoline is from the outside, the interior is pretty cool -- if you're age 11.

The upholstery is done in robin's egg baby blue with lime-green piping. The van comes equipped with an an ice-cream dispenser and a 26-inch flat screen with DVD player for watching Scooby Doo videos. When the kids aren't looking, we guess there's a chance you could get a few quick glances at a Colts game on a Sunday, as well.

Sure, the van may be all fun and games, emblazoned with "The Mystery Machine." But it's also real world: There is an alarm system and power door locks. Bad guys can't get in. Kids can't fall out.
