A BIZARRE artificial intelligence-generated video has revived the sharp criticism of a long-dead comedian.

Comedian and actor George Carlin died in 2008, but spoke from beyond the grave in a routine created by AI persona Dudesy.

Dudesy is a machine learning project created by Mad TV alum Will Sasso and podcaster Chad Kultgen.

The "first of its kind comedy experiment" usually involves the two hosts discussing topics with some feedback from Dudesy, which acts as their AI-generated companion.

Recently, the duo started using their humor expertise and technology to impersonate routines based on real-life comedians.

On Tuesday, Dudesy released its latest hour-long special which was based on the life and work of Carlin.

Carlin was a comedian and social critic who rose to fame for voicing his countercultural opinions with a lighthearted and humorous flair.

Dudesy decided to create its latest special, I'm Glad I'm Dead, to hear how Carlin might comment on the issues plaguing the modern man.

In the intro of the video, Dudesy said, "I tried to capture his iconic style to tackle the topics I think the comedy legend would be talking about today.

"Think of it like Andy Kaufmann impersonating Elvis, or like Will Ferrell impersonating George W Bush."

AI George Carlin commented on a variety of modern pop culture topics in the special, including tech billionaires Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.

In the segment, the impression said that billionaires were "destroying the fabric of humanity" with greed that strips people of their basic human rights.

But the AI-generated voice then quipped that people had no right to blame the billionaires for their success.

"People are the ones that gave them the money in the first place," AI Carlin said.

He said that critics who are tired of hearing about Musk fathering babies and planting microchips in people's brains can simply stop buying Teslas and using X, formerly Twitter.

"But if you wanna drive with your head in your ass and blame it on the car you have to have a Tesla," AI Carlin said to the unnerving sound of generated laughter.

The routine continues, "And if you wanna argue with strangers about complex geopolitical situations using only cat memes, you have to have Twitter."

Bezos was also slammed by the AI comedian for using Amazon money to fly around in a rocket.

However, taking down the billionaire would require the "traumatic experience" of putting on clothes and driving five minutes to go to a brick-and-mortar store instead of shopping online, AI Carlin jokes.

Finally, the AI comedian roasted Zuckerberg for his "unblinking lifeless eyes" that stare into the Metaverse he's creating.

The routine said social media users could cut off his wealth if they wanted, but roasted them for being addicted to "targeted ads" on Instagram that are based on private conversations recorded from their phones.

AI Carlin ended the bit by saying that he wasn't anti-technology, despite the criticism.

"On some level, I am technology," went the routine to more eerie laughter.

After the special was released, the late Carlin's daughter Kelly Carlin shared her thoughts on the matter.

“My dad spent a lifetime perfecting his craft from his very human life, brain and imagination. No machine will ever replace his genius," she wrote on X.

“Let’s let the artist’s work speak for itself. Humans are so afraid of the void that we can’t let what has fallen into it stay there.”
