After a rollercoaster ride of a life, Joan is happily wed to her fifth husband, Percy Gibson, 31 years her junior.
Again speaking in her memoir, she wrote: “The fact that I was older didn’t matter to us.
"It was giddy, it was fantastic and Percy and I fell madly in love.
“I’ve finally found my true soulmate. And my husband forever."
Whilst her previous marriages include Maxwell Reed, Anthony Newley, Ronald S. Kass and Peter Holm, her fifth to Gibson has been longest.
The happy couple married in February 2002 at Claridge's Hotel in London.
This was Collins’ fifth marriage and Gibson’s second, as he was previously married to Cynthia Bauer for over a decade.
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain in 2020, Collins was asked if she would have met Gibson when she was in her 30's, to which she replied "He wasn't born!" referencing the 31-year age difference between the pair.
