Welcome Kits Pool Swimmers
Kits Pool brings together a community of passionate swimmers who are engaged in the experiences provided by this globally recognized jewel of our city.
Kits Pool Swimmers is an advocacy group being developed to harness that passion and act to benefit the whole community as champions for Kits Pool, delivering resources for its enhanced future.
The Kits Pool Swimmers Survey Has Closed
Our initial focus is to work collaboratively with the Parks Board
to identify challenges and related solutions to extend the Kits Pool season and plan for enhancements that the community can help to deliver above and beyond the current framework within which the Parks Board and City of Vancouver operate.
We have a dedicated group of Kits Pool Swimmers,
two of whom served on the Van Splash Advisory Group and worked collaboratively with multiple interest groups and the Parks Board. We are in close contact with the Parks Board and have explained our vision to them, and we are advancing with the mandate to work in collaboration.
At this time, we are seeking expressions of interest from the Kits Pool Swimmers community to join the effort by signing up to the mailing list - which will not be shared with any other parties. This will allow us to keep you informed about advancements, and so that the initiative benefits from your insights through surveys and discussions. In addition, if anyone is interested in dedicating time to serve on the initial steering committee we would be interested in speaking with you.
