A very young male infant dusky langur monkey whose mother was killed by feral dogs has been given a stuffed toy to act as its new parent and he seems to absolutely love it. The monkey is extremely small as it is only a week old and was left to fend for itself and was himself injured in the attack which killed his mother. He was later picked up by animal rescuers. The Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) was informed of the monkey’s plight by rescuers and they traveled to Chumphon Province to retrieve the orphaned monkey. Now, the little monkey has been given a stuffed teddy bear toy to replace its mother and the photos that have been shared on Facebook by the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) are extremely heartwarming as well as heart-wrenching and will make you teary-eyed.

The little-orphaned monkey is now coping well with getting a stuff toy teddy bear mum. The orphaned monkey had sustained bite marks during the attack by dogs. The Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) shared photos of the adorably cute little monkey and wrote, “The WFFT Rescue Team headed out for the long drive south to help this poor infant. Upon arrival, they were shocked to find a very small langur who had sustained numerous bite wounds during the attack. We estimate he is around a week old, as his umbilical cord is still attached.
