The Kitsilano community is ready to safely reopen after the covid restrictions.

The Kitsilano outdoor pool is an integral part of the community, and its annual opening represents the beginning of summer for Kitsilano residents. Locals enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the pool and the exercise of swimming in the pool.

Opening the pool will be a positive and hopeful sign for the local community. Lap swimmers should be able to be accommodated in a safe and responsible manner, in this large pool swimming area.

We respectfully request that the Mayor and the Parks Board take the necessary steps to get this beautiful facility open to the public as soon as possible.
