Report: Heather Locklear hospitalized

Actress Heather Locklear was reportedly hospitalized Sunday after a concerned family member told police she was on the hunt for a gun to hurt herself.

The Melrose Place star, 56, was taken to a hospital for a psych evaluation after deputies responded to a call from her California residence, TMZ reports.

Dispatch audio obtained by the gossip site reveals that the caller told authorities an “agitated and violent” Locklear was trying to hurt herself, and was looking for a gun to shoot herself, though she did not have access to any weapons.

George Clooney says he looks forward to more changes in Hollywood as he reflects on his career after being awarded the American Film Institute’s Life Achievement Award.

The 57-year-old’s work as an actor, director and human rights activist was the focus of a star-studded celebration at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles earlier this month. TNT will air the ceremony on Thursday at 10 p.m.

Clooney’s career spans more than three decades, from his breakthrough role on television’s ER to drifting through space in Gravity. He’s also known for directing films such as Monuments Men and Good Night, and Good Luck.

Elvis’ former jet for sale again

A private jet once owned by Elvis Presley that has sat on a runway in New Mexico for nearly four decades is back on the auction block.

The online auction site IronPlanet announced this week that the plane with red velvet seats had returned to the market after its current owner bought it last year for $430,000.

A previous auction house says Elvis designed the interior that has gold-tone woodwork, red velvet seats and red shag carpet. But the red 1962 Lockheed Jetstar has no engine and needs a restoration of its cockpit.

The plane was owned by Elvis and his father, Vernon Presley.
