British-born actress Emma Samms has enjoyed a glittering career stateside in some of the 1980s biggest soap operas including General Hospital, Dynasty and The Colbys.

In her role as Fallon Carrington Colby in Dynasty and The Colbys, Emma had some of the most dramatic storylines seen on US TV, including suffering amnesia, alien abduction and finding herself trapped in a mine after searching for Nazi gold.

Emma was born in London, England, the daughter of Madeleine a Ballet dancer, and Michael who’s own father was G. B. Samuelson, a pioneer of British cinema. Following in her mother’s dance steps, Emma trained as a dancer at the Royal Ballet School. Aged 15 a hip injury put her Ballet career on hold and instead she turned to acting.

After leaving Dynasty in 1989 Emma went to secure roles on Models Inc and My Two Dads before reigniting her career back in the UK with parts in Holby City, Casualty and The Bill.
