Turn up "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" right now — just do it. You'll need that anthemic energy coursing through your veins when you see Shania Twain in her fresh new pastel pink hair color! Yes, you read that right: Twain, known for her luscious, tumbling brunette waves, ditched the dark hair in favor of a bubblegum hue and it does impress us much.

Twain debuted the new pink hair at the 2022 People's Choice Awards, hitting the red carpet in a custom leopard print Rodarte look that was a direct reference to the all-leopard hood and catsuit she wore in the "That Don't Impress Me Much" video in 1997. Instead of the copper color she rocked in the original video, a pop of pink peeked out from underneath the hood as a little taste of what was to come from Twain later that evening.

Twain lost the hood for the performance and showed off the full color so fans could get a peek at the shocking transformation. The country icon wore a few different looks throughout her set, including a pink bustier catsuit and a bedazzled "naked" illusion jumpsuit, and let her pastel hair flow freely down her back in voluminous, undone waves with side-parted bangs. The new color is the perfect shade of pink — not too pale, not too bright, just a gorgeous true flamingo pink. Twain did tell Today that the pink color was temporary, but we're really hoping she decides to keep it for a while; it's so much fun!

The musician kept the pink vibes going with her makeup for the awards show, going for a tone-on-tone monochromatic look for her lids, cheeks, and lips. Her eyes were accented with a pastel pink eye shadow with a bright tropical green liner on her lower lashline, plus dramatic clumped false lashes on both the upper and lower lids for even more impact. Twain's glam team fluffed on a little pink blush and slicked on a matching watermelon lip, perfected the star's brows and voila! The icon was ready to Up!grade the People's Choice Awards red carpet in a major way.
