Muhammed Suleiman, a 25-year-old, has emerged as the national youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Suleiman hails from Kaduna state.
He polled 3,072 votes at the just concluded PDP national convention while his challenger Usman Elkudan scored 219 votes.
Suleiman was barely two years older than the PDP which was established in 1998.
Suleiman said Nigerian youths feel cheated with the way politics is played in Nigeria.
He, however, added that his emergence will re-awake the hope of the Nigerian youths.
He noted that if a 28-year-old parliamentarian Anthony Enahoro can move the motion for Nigeria Independence in the 1950s, then he is also capable to do well.
