Deuba nominates 7 Central Working Committee members (in pictures)

At a function organised at party headquarters in Sanepa to distribute certificates to the newly elected central members, President Deuba announced the names from the podium.
Deuba nominated his election rival Ram Chandra Poudel, another contender Krishna Prasad Sitaula, defeated general secretary aspirants Arjun Narsingh KC and Gagan Thapa, Chitralekha Yadav and Umakanta Chaudhary, who lost the election for the post of party treasurer, as the CWC members. He also picked Nara Hari Acharya, who could not take part in the party election because of his ailing condition.
Coordinator of NC Election Committee and senior attorney Radhe Shyam Adhikari gave away the certificates to the elected sixty-four leaders, including President Deuba.
Also today, the newly elected office bearers of the NC assumed their respective positions at the party office.
Speaking at the programme, President Deuba, leader Poudel, General Secretary Shashanka Koirala, and Treasurer Sitadevi Yadav expressed their commitment to strengthen the party unity. This marks the formal conclusion of the 13th General Convention of Nepali Congress.
