Zoolander 2 teaser trailer asks one big existential question

It’s here. It’s happening. Fifteen years later, it’s still really, really, ridiculously good-looking.

It’s the first teaser for Zoolander 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 2001 original comedy starring Ben Stiller as male model-turned-assassin Derek Zoolander. The follow-up is set more than a decade after the events of the first film, and it’ll feature a slew of original stars—including Owen Wilson, Christine Taylor, and Will Ferrell — as well as new cast members Penelope Cruz, Kristen Wiig, and Cyrus Arnold (as Derek’s son). Several cameos have also been announced, including Willie Nelson and Justin Bieber (this is also the only time you will ever hear those two names in the same sentence).

The Paramount Pictures teaser, which was briefly posted on YouTube on Friday night before being pulled, takes a brief trip through the genesis of human life, arriving in the brain of Derek Zoolander. The journey includes a few hints for die-hard fans of the original — the dictionary definition for Eugoogly, mermen, a “no left turn” sign, and orange mocha frappuccinos for days.

Zoolander 2 struts into theaters in February 2016.
