Krabi Thailand: An Underrated Travel Spot

Krabi Town + Tiger Temple

Krabi Thailand is a fantastic place to chill out. This was my second visit, you can check out My First Krabi Adventure here.

Krabi can be a little confusing there are a lot of towns nearby that get lumped into Krabi. There is:

Ao Nang: A popular tourist spot 15 km north of Krabi Town (touristy)
Railay Beach: An awesome Peninsula famous for its rock climbing, which can be reached by boat from Krabi Town. I also went here and will tell you all about it in my next blog post.
Krabi Town: The place featuerd in this blog post. Most people overlook it as a place to visit, and mostly use it as a base, but I stayed 4 days in Krabi Town and I really enjoyed it.

Where to stay in Krabi Town: I stayed at a nice little place along the river called Rooms @ Krabi. The owners were really nice and the bar/restaurant is a great place to sit and do computer work. Then I switched to Nature View Guesthouse because it was super cheap and close to everything.

What to do in Krabi: Take a boat to Railay and spend a night or two, visit Tiger temple (and make sure to allow enough time to walk in the jungle part/to the caves), go to evening food market, go to weekend shopping market, get a massage.
