    Benjamin Franklin may have overlooked one certainty in life: laundry.
    Humans have been doing laundry in numerous ways for as long as it has existed. One of the earliest ways was beating the dust and grime out of clothes. Washboards and tubs were replaced by manually cranked tubs and now, automatic washing machines. The first U.S. patent for an electric washing machine was granted to Alva J. Fisher in 1910.


    It was nice this morning and now it is cold. We may get snow. The outside furries are fed and safe.

    Happy Caturday! Yep, when you think there’s nothing there for you, laundry. Laundry will always be there for you.

    The fire is 95% contained, burned about 1000 acres of the Kanouse Mountain. At one point it was about a mile from home but then the wind shifted and took the smoke and ash away from here.

    On Wednesday afternoon Huey didn’t come home till morning. I realized it might have been his instincts kicking in like his wildlife counterparts. They say always watch the animals, they sense things way before us!

    It’s started snowing in the middle of the night. We’re still getting bunches of fat, wet flakes! Yay!

    I’m glad the fire is 95% contained, JJ. Was Huey warning you about the fire? It’s good he’s home, though.

    I like doing laundry!

    Here it’s an unpurrescedented + 24 degrees C! Had I gone out I might have seen peeps going about their busess just about nekked! 😳 Going to cool down to more avg temps though.

    I ran some neighbourhood errands on Saturday and another day this past week when it was almost as warm, but I think I’d have to walk past a large park to see people exercising half undressed. My big thrill was being able to use the outside clothesline on the back balcony. Livia does her laundry with her little pink tongue…
