This Chrysler PT Cruiser got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser Touring Edition was purchased new by Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach, Florida, and now has 7k miles. The car is finished in Inferno Red Crystal Pearl Coat with faux-woodgrain trim over Dark Taupe cloth upholstery and powered by a 2.4-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle. Features include a surfboard mounted to roof crossbars, 16″ nine-spoke wheels, bright trim, Ron Jon window decals, air conditioning, and a CD/cassette stereo. The car spent time in New Jersey before being acquired by the selling dealer in 2022, and subsequent service included replacing the battery and changing the oil. This PT Cruiser is now offered at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean New Jersey title.
The body is finished in Inferno Red Crystal Pearl Coat and has been modified with aftermarket faux-woodgrain trim, Ron Jon Surf Shop window decals, side window wind deflectors, and bright trim. A surfboard is mounted on the roof crossbars, and blemishes on the front bumper cover and hood can be viewed in the gallery below.
Silver-finished 16″ nine-spoke wheels wear 205/55 American Classic whitewall tires. Braking power is provided by front discs and rear drums. The Carfax report lists an October 2019 service that included replacing the calipers.
The front bucket seats are upholstered in Dark Taupe cloth upholstery and complemented by a dual-tone dashboard and door panels. The body-color dashboard trim is joined by woodgrain accents on the center stack, console, and front doors. Amenities include keyless entry, air conditioning, a CD/cassette stereo, and power door locks and windows.
The four-spoked steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 7k miles.
The 2.4-liter inline-four features sequential multi-point injection and was factory rated at 150 horsepower and 165 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle. Service in preparation for the sale is said to have included replacing the battery and changing the oil.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Florida and New Jersey.
