Annette Wolfstein-Joseph finds herself in awe of the cycle of growth, blossoming, death and regeneration that happens daily in the garden, providing her with a connection to Creativity on a grand scale. Her prints are her own attempt at creativity on a far more humble scale. She ventures to recreate the marvellous colours and textures, lights & shadows as they vary with the shift of the sun and the changing of the seasons.

For many years she was a member of the etching atelier of the Saidye Bronfman Centre, where she was teaching etching and was Head of the Printmaking Department of its School of Fine Arts. Her work has been included in many collections both private and corporate and a number of my prints are often purchased by the Bibliotheque Nationale du Quebec, and the National Bank of Canada.
