Gigi Leung abides by the three months rule?

3 Aug – Rumour has it that after three years of marriage, finally there is a bun in the oven for Hong Kong actress Gigi Leung.

According to HK Channel, the 38 year-old, who married Spaniard husband Sergio in 2011, is suspected to be pregnant for more than two months now but refused to confirm the happy news in order to stick to the three-month rule of the Chinese tradition – where pregnancy should only be revealed after the first trimester.

The actress reportedly has been visiting a traditional Chinese doctor and even cancelled her work plans, including a music show in Shenzhen with Leo Ku in August, in order to prepare for her baby plans.

The couple also reportedly plans to have their baby born in Hong Kong instead of Sergio's home country, Spain.

When asked to comment on the pregnancy rumour, Gigi neither confirmed nor denied the news. "Thank you for your concern, but there is no good news to be announced at the moment."

Sergio also declined to make any comments when called at his workplace and quickly hanged up, saying that he won't talk about other things during work.

Meanwhile, Gigi's manager said that she did cancel the upcoming show due to family matters and will only announce any good news when the timing is right.
