Anthony Mackie & Chiwetel Ejiofor Agree Doctor Strange Will Be Best Superhero Movie of 2016

While Anthony Mackie is out on the press circuit for Triple 9, he's sharing time with fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, who plays Baron Mordo in 2016's Doctor Strange.

You'd think that would lead to a little bit of friendly "sibling" rivalry, as the two go promote their own MCU films, but not so. After Desde Hollywood asked the two actors which of their films, Captain America: Civil War, or Doctor Strange will be the best superhero movie of the year, Ejiofor immediately jumped in and confidently said, "Doctor Strange."

Surprisingly, Mackie agreed.

"I give you that," he said. "Doctor Strange, just from the artwork that I have seen, it’s gonna be so different, so far out and so creatively stimulating that’s going to blow everything out of the water."

Of course, that means Mackie is really high on Marvel's movies for 2016. He also recently said that Civil War is "Marvel's best movie yet."
