• Megan Fox is looking extra fit these days and she's got the snaps to prove it.
  • In a new Instagram post, the 35-year-old Transformers actress rocked a floral pant-and-jacket set paired with a corset top. And while the outfit is fire, I just can't take my eyes off those ripped abs!
  • Her fitness secret? She makes sure to get at least 12,000 steps in each day. She also works out quite a bit, doing "bursts of cardio" and lifting heavy weights twice a week.

Megan Fox is all about making a fashion statement: whether she's rocking purple pleather or a pantsuit, she's always trying out new looks.

And in a new Instagram post, the 35-year-old Transformers actress tried out "grandma-chic." She showed off a super cute floral pant-and-jacket set that she paired with a plaid corset top, both of which she compared to old sofa fabric. But of course, we all know she looks anything but old and dingy. I mean, look at those washboard abs!

"Everybody’s grandma had that one sofa…swipe," she captioned the pics.

And her followers are absolutely loving it. "😂 loving this whole grandma couch look," one wrote. While another commented, "Okay but u pull it off SO WELL????"

To get her abs so toned, Megan works with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak. He previously told People that they tend to focus on five phases during their workouts together, as part of his Five-Factor workouts: A minimum five-minute cardio warm-up, a lower-body sculpting exercise, an upper-body toning exercise, then a core-sculpting exercise, and a five-minute cooldown.

Pasternak is big on getting steps in. "The focus really is on steps, making sure you get at least 12,000 steps a day through walking, moving your body," he shared with Insider.

Megan even shared with E! News back in 2014, "I exercise really hard twice a week. I got my ass kicked this morning before I came here! I do bursts of cardio with really heavy weights. Circuit training."

As for her diet, Megan said via Instagram that she likes to "oscillate between eating keto and paleo."

Megan also said that her go-to protein bar contains none of the ingredients she avoids: "...(No gluten! No gmo! No canola oil! No xylitol or erythritol! And many many more)... When I’m eating paleo I need snacks that I can bring with me to work or while traveling. Most protein bars contain inflammatory ingredients and so I usually avoid them."

She told E! News that she tries to stay away from carbs: "I cut out all bread and those sort of carbohydrates. No crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy," she said. "The worst thing I put in my body is coffee, once a day. I don't have any cheat days," she admitted. "But if I did, it would be pizza or cake."

However, Megan is a big fan of smoothies and treats herself to them quite a bit. "Megan's favorite is the red smoothie, which is whatever berries are in season, Chai tea, a scoop of protein powder, and a little bit of almond milk," Pasternak told People.

Get it, Megan!
