NASA releases video that shows closer look at Saturn
There is new video from NASA available and this time the planet Saturn is the star. NASA’s Cassini spacecraft took a series of images that were later linked together to make a movie sequence showing the spacecraft pass over the mysterious planet. On April 26, the spacecraft dives between the planet and its rings. The entire “movie” is more than an hour long. During its journey, the spacecraft’s altitude above the clouds dropped from 45,000 to 4,200 miles (72,400 to 6,700 kilometers). According to NASA, the Cassini-huygens mission is a cooperative project of NASA and the European Space Agency, as well as the Italian Space Agency.
