Here's what you need to know about the Marvel hero.

The Avengers’ Black Widow is taking care of unfinished business with her own solo movie.

Natasha Romanoff, played by Scarlett Johansson, is a deadly assassin and secret spy. She’s finally coming out from the shadows of her smaller roles in previous Marvel movies.

Black Widow first made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in "Iron Man 2" in 2010, alongside Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr.

Black Widow then appeared in subsequent Avengers and solo movies, including "The Avengers", "Captain: America: The Winter Solder", "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Captain America: Civil War"

Black Widow also appeared in both "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame" where she died after sacrificing herself so Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) could receive an Infinity Stone.

Her solo movie isn’t a case of return from the dead though. The movie is set between the events of "Captain America: Civil War" and "Avengers: Infinity War."

Black Widow is set to release in theaters and on Disney+.
