After public marital issues and months of speculation, former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson and husband Hank Baskett are officially calling it quits.

Kendra Wilkinson just confirmed that her marriage to Hank Baskett is ending.

The reality star and former Playboy model, 32, announced Friday that it was the final day of her marriage to the former NFL football player, 35. Wilkinson posted a photo of the two of them on her Instagram page, accompanied by a lengthy statement about their relationship coming to an end.

"Today is the last day of my marriage to this beautiful man," Wilkinson writes in the Instagram post. "I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways."

The news comes after talks of marital troubles in recent months. The couple spoke out publicly about a sex scandal that almost ended their relationship back in 2015.

"I’m beyond sad and heartbroken because I did believe in forever, that’s why I said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way," Wilkinson writes.

"We are both amazing parents and our kids will be happy [and] never know the difference other than seeing mama smile," Wilkinson continues in the post.

Wilkinson and Baskett have two children together, Henry Randall, 8, and Alijah Mary, 3.

Wilkinson came to fame on the E! reality show The Girls Next Door, which followed the lives of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's then-girlfriends. Following her stint on the show, Wilkinson married Baskett in a ceremony at the Playboy Mansion in 2009, which was documented on the E! spinoff series Kendra.

Despite any past incidents, Wilkinson thanked Baskett "for a beautiful 8 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids" and says she wants the best for him.

"I want to see happy Hank again," Wilkinson says. "I miss that. Marriage was just a piece of paper and a piece of jewelry but our hearts will always be real."

Don't be surprised if you still see them together, Wilkinson warns.

"You will [probably] see us together a lot but it’s because there’s no hate," she says. "Love wins in this case, it just looks a little funny."
