So, someone at People magazine must've forgotten who Rashida Jones' father is. (It's music legend Quincy Jones.)

When the Parks and Recreation actress hit the SAGs red carpet for an interview with the mag, the reporter in question gushed about how "tan" and "tropical" Rashida looked.

Anyway, Rashida didn't let the awkward compliment trip her up though. "I mean, you know, I'm ethnic," she replied.
