Christmas in August? New Pixie Elf Christmas Ornaments Just Arrived!

I love the fall of the year.....love September, October.....the weather is beautiful.....our home is surrounded by trees with woods in the backyard and this means a yard full of leaves and I love the way it all looks in the fall. So we've been putting together ideas for some fall decorations to start on for the next tutorial. Everything was piled on the table and a new fall wreath ready to be started........then....Fed Ex drops by unexpectedly and drops off what......some CUTE little pixie elves, stockings and elf tree toppers!

These little guys...and girls look sort of like Snap, Crackle and Pop from the old Rice Krispie cereal boxes of yesteryear. Waxing nostalgic here.... "Snap, Crackle Pop Rice Krispies......." Just Google Snap, Crackle, Pop....there is tons of historical information out there with old photos.....and here's a link to one of the commercials from the 1950's .....in black and white.....I can relate to that))) In the commercial, they're adding sugar to their Rice Krispies.....it's strange, it's something my husband does, but we never added sugar to cereal when I was growing up......I take mine plain and straight up....maybe with banana slices.....and who doesn't love Rice Krispie treats! Gosh....think I feel a batch coming on this weekend.

These Pixies are ornaments and have a little loop on the back for hanging. They measure around 9" in ht and the legs and arms are wired. They are not wired anything like the Elf on the Shelf, they are more of a value priced ornament, but cute. The heads are plastic.

There is a larger version in a 15" that we still have to add to the website. They also come in a multicolor and a red/green variation. We'll get those added later today. But....now I want to make something for Christmas! Maybe a little tree with elf legs sticking out.....hmmmm......think that fall piece is just going to have to wait)))
