Mr T reveals transformation after dropping almost a stone training for Dancing With The Stars

The A Team star is set to show off his fancy footwork on US version of Strictly

MR T has dropped almost a STONE as he trains for Dancing With The Stars.

The A Team icon, 64, was pictured with his professional dance partner Kym Herjavec looking in great condition.

His svelte new look comes after he tweeted: "This Dancing is really making Me Sweat off the Lbs.

"I’ve already lost 12 [lbs]! I am Lean, Mean and 219. I am Agile, Mobile and Hostile. Grrr!"

Best known for as B. A. Baracus in eighties hit The A Team, before that Mr T - real name Laurence Tureaud - was an underground street fighter.

He starred in Rocky 3 as Clubber Lang after Sylvester Stallone spotted him taking part in 'America's Toughest Bouncer'.

Mr T was invited on to the show due to his reputation as one of the toughest fighters in the US.

It's estimated more than 200 ejected clubbers tried to sue him after pavement punch-ups during his career - and he won every case.

He would also wear people's lost property, meaning they had to sheepishly come and ask him for their things back.

He was eventually scouted as a bodyguard and was one of the highest paid and sought after in the business – looking after 42 millionaires, eight airline stewardesses, 16 prostitutes and celebrities including Steve McQueen, Muhammad Ali and Michael Jackson.

For his protection, clients would pay between $3,000 (£2,440) and $10,000 (£8,140) a day.

But despite his tough guy past, Mr. T claims his dancefloor debut has left him a bag of nerves.
He said: "Now I must be honest with you. I’ll be Lying if I said, ‘I Don’t Have Butterflies.’ Well I Do!"

Mr T will go up against the likes of Glee star Heather Morris, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei.

Despite having played ‘himself’ in the majority of shows he’s appeared on, this is Mr T’s first foray into the modern realm of reality TV.
