Tiger Woods’ ‘mistress’ Rachel Uchitel to break 10-year silence on ‘affair’ that destroyed his marriage in documentary
TIGER Woods' "mistress" Rachel Uchitel is speaking out and breaking her 10-year silence on the 'affair' that destroyed his marriage to Elin Nordegren.
HBO is airing an upcoming documentary series, which will reveal Rachel's side of the scandal.
Rachel told Heather McDonald on her podcast Juicy Scoop: "I first met Tiger Woods- I was dating Derek Jeter, and Tiger was sleeping over at Derek's house… And he was just a buddy…And we just became friendly. So that's how I originally met him in Manhattan."
"I met him a couple times in the nightclubs through other people, and he would come in or whatever…"
Rachel also shared HBO is going be airing a docuseries about Tiger Woods in December, which will address his affair with her.
It appears to be entitled, Tiger, according to HBO's website, but Rachel never said the name of it.
According to HBO, the series will explore the "rise, fall, and redemption of global icon Tiger Woods."
The network also added: "Rachel Uchitel, the woman at the center of the sex scandal that forever altered Tiger’s world, [will be] breaking her silence for the first time."
Rachel said of taking part in the series: "And finally, I felt like people have gone so low on me sort of about me over the last 10 years after all this stuff that had come out about the scandal that I felt at some point I needed to you know like remove the shackles of what that is like to not have a voice. And I felt like at some point, I needed to have a voice of what that was like for me and what it's been like for me because I don't think people really get that because people just like to throw names around."
She went on: "That's a really hard way to live your life cause I've been stuck under that cloud and under that branding, and I haven't had a chance to get out of that. There are people that go through scandals like that, that are able to sort of slip out of it, and it's harder for a woman I think. And I deserve my own stand-up and share moment.
"Tiger gets to win awards or win his different tournaments. He gets to come out of things and have mishaps, and get up again, and people want to cheer for him. But the women don't get that so much, not just with him but with any scandal, and that's not really fair. And I just felt like I needed to be able to have a voice finally.
"Because it's been a really hard 10 years of having to just sit there and let people, in the absence of truth, let people say things about me and also just let people talk about me like they know me because they don't. And that's a really hurtful way to live. It hasn't been easy, ya know. So I decided to speak."
Tiger has been dating Erica Herman since 2017, and Elin and boyfriend Jordan Cameron welcomed their first child together in 2019.
Elin shares two children with ex Tiger.
Rachel shares daughter, Wyatt Lily Hahn, 8, with ex-husband Matt Hahn.

According to Page Six, Rachel was also “on the shortlist” for casting on Real Housewives of New York City last season, but producers instead went with Leah McSweeney.
Following Dorinda Medley's firing, Rachel may have another shot at RHONY.
When asked about her potential new gig, Rachel replied writing Page Six: “News to me!” with a winking emoji.
A Bravo rep also denied that Rachel's in talks to replace Dorinda, the outlet reported.
But the network did affirm she had previously been considered to join the show.
Rachel's also been linked to RHONY through the casanova of the cast, Harry Dubin.
