Over the last six decades, Cher has proven to be more than just a pop singer. She's an actress, a style icon, and even an entrepreneur. She's been turning back time since she first rose to fame in the 1960s with Sonny & Cher, and quickly became a solo success with more hit songs than we can count! She's sold more than 100 million records worldwide and has won awards at the Oscars, Emmys, Grammy, and Golden Globes.

It seems like the Goddess of Pop has really done it all, including a new Christmas album just this year! But one thing she's never done is perform at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade—until this year. The legendary singer can add "opens for Santa" on her list of accomplishments.

While many people consider Cher to be a timeless icon, it might come as a surprise to learn that Cher is currently 77 years old. Born (Cherilyn Sarkisian) on May 20, 1946 in California, the pop artist recently had a few things to say about her age.

"Ok, Will Someone 🙏🏼 PLEASE Tell me…..When Will I Feel OLD👶🏻," she posted on on her birthday this year. "This is ridiculous. I keep hearing these numbers, but I honestly can't understand them."

Cher has proven time and time again that age really is just a number—and she's not slowing down any time soon. Her newest Christmas album, featuring 13 holiday songs with guest singers like Stevie Wonder and Cyndi Lauper, is just one example of her never-ending career.

"I never say this about my own records but I'm really proud of this one," she wrote on Instagram. "It is one of the most amazing highlights of my career."

Some of the Christmas songs on the album include "DJ Play A Christmas Song," "Run Run Rudolph," "Santa Baby," and "What Christmas Means To Me."

And in case you didn't know, Cher's mega hit "Believe" also celebrated a big birthday this year. The song was released in October 1998, marking its 25th anniversary!
