After 14 years of marriage, Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have announced that they've split.

Isla announced on Instagram Friday that she and Sacha have split at the end of 2023. She posted a photo of her and her now ex-husband in matching tennis outfits that read: "After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our rackets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change."

She added: "We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate our family's wishes for privacy." Though the couple kept their relationship semi-private, they have given the public some glimpses over the years.

When did they meet?

Sacha and Isla met in 2002 in Australia, where Isla is from. The actress told Marie Claire that meeting Sacha was like "winning the lottery" and that they shared a similar sense of humor.

Two years later, the couple got engaged. They didn't marry until 2010 when they tied the knot in Paris.

Isla revealed that she converted to Judaism before getting married. "I will definitely have a Jewish wedding just to be with Sacha. I would do anything — move into any religion — to be united in marriage with him," she said in an interview with the Evening Standard.

Do they have children?

The couple share three children, two girls and a son. They welcomed their first daughter, the now 16-year-old Olivia in October 2007.

Their second daughter, Elula, was born the same year they got married. Then Sasha and Isla welcomed a son, Montgomery, in April 2015.

In 2020, the family moved to Sydney, Australia from Los Angeles. Isla admitted that it was hard to raise a family in Hollywood.

"There's not really a culture of bringing your kids to dinner parties or to restaurants past 6pm. I tend to entertain at home because I want to be with my family - it's easier to put your kids to bed and have a wine with friends," she said.

Isla has also said she wants to keep her children out of the spotlight. She told Marie Claire Australia in 2021: "I think all parents are trying to protect their kids, especially in the social media age. I want our children to have a normal childhood – being able to play outside without pressure or scrutiny."

Have they ever admitted anything about their sex life?

While they try to stay private, a few details have slipped out about their intimate life. Isla played Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts on The Late Late Show with James Corden in 2016 when she was asked by actor Ewan McGregor: "Has your husband Sacha ever done a character in bed? And if so, which one?'

Isla decided to answer the question instead of eating the questionable food in front of her. "He's had a handlebar moustache and he's been Borat, or he's had Bruno's blonde hair," she admitted, adding that Sacha had been visibly in character, but never did any of the characters' voices.
