The late model rose to prominence around three decades ago when she competed in contests like Ms. Fitness USA, with her said to have won the competition back in 1994. Ahmo subsequently began modelling for fitness and muscle magazines, though her career included several acting projects too.

It has been reported that professional bodybuilder Chris Cormier - whom is said to have raised a son with former gymnast Ahmo - confirmed that she had passed away earlier this week. Ahmo reportedly died on August 29.
