Britney Spears cuddles mum Lynne in emotional birthday reunion after bitter family feud
BRITNEY Spears' relationship with mum Lynne is continuing to heal after the pair cuddled up together on the singer's birthday.
After celebrating at manager Cade Hudson's LA home with her small inner circle that included her brother Bryan, Britney, 42, and Lynne, 68, returned to the pop star's mansion.
In a picture shared to social media, Lynne ran her fingers through Brit's hair as she nestled into crook of her neck.
The singer wore shades and looked tired as she relaxed on the sofa.
It was a special moment for Lynne, who wrote: "Happy birthday to Britney Spears. I am so happy you and your momma are together at last. Here's to healing and a life of happiness, freedom and bonds that will never be broken!"
The mother and daughter patched up their differences back in May after three years of silence.
That surprise reunion came two years after Britney was finally freed from her controversial conservatorship in 2021 under which her dad, Jamie, managed her financial affairs and other aspects of her life.
It was first introduced following a mental health crisis Britney suffered in 2008.
While Jamie bore the brunt of her anger, Britney also ripped into her mum just days before a judge lifted the conservatorship.
She claimed that it had initially been Lynne's idea and accused her mum of "secretly ruining my life".

Time has been a healer though, and earlier this year Lynne extended an olive branch.
After receiving a surprise visit, Britney told fans on social media: "My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years … it's been such a long time … with family there's always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!!
"After being able to communicate what I've held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!! I love you so much !!! Psss… I'm so blessed we can have coffee together after 14 years !!! Let's go shopping afterwards !!!"
