Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell showed the spark in their relationship is still going strong 40 years later as they put on a loving display in Aspen, Colorado.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been constantly plagued with messages about when they are getting married during their 40-year relationship.

The Hollywood couple have now been asked whether they would be splitting with Goldie shutting rumors down at the time.

The pair didn't let anything get in their way as they showed off their undying love during a shopping trip in Aspen, Colorado this week.

The 78-year-old actress and her 72-year-old beau shared a kiss while Kurt held on to his wife's arm throughout the outing.

The First Wives Club actress made sure to keep warm as she styled a plush white coat with a pair of skinny dark green snow pants and black snow boots.

Kurt, meanwhile, sported a brown coat, along with blue jeans and styled his salt and pepper tresses in a natural wave.

At one point the couple took a seat on a bench and petted their large brown, black, and white dog.

Their appearances come as Goldie was left to shut down split rumors while out in Pacific Palisades this week.

Goldie was asked by the paparazzi about rumors of a potential split, leaving the actress to laugh slightly.

She then exclaimed: "What? Oh no. Don't believe everything!"

Kurt and Goldie have constantly been followed around with questions about whether they will ever tie the knot, with The Monarch: Legacy of Monsters star hinting it could be on the cards.

The two first met while filming Disney's 1968 musical The One and Only, Genuine, and eventually started dating after starring together in Swing Shift in 1983.

In a conversation with their son Wyatt Russell, Kurt revealed marriage has been a big topic of discussion for Goldie.

Asked again if they would marry, Kurt quipped to Extra: I've been going with my girl for 40 years.

"You know what, it's come up in conversation, whereas it never used to."

Still, despite the plot twist revelation, he joked he "can't even go there", with Kurt adding: "We have both been married, we've both done that, and you know what, we've lived our life.

"We've had our family, our family continues to grow, it's fantastic."
