A little while ago I went looking online for free printable Thunder Bay colouring pages—but there weren't any. "The world definitely needs Thunder Bay colouring pages," I thought. So, I sought out two talented local artists who kindly shared these amazing images that represent some of the flavour of Thunder Bay.
I think they're perfect for kids...and kids at heart.

Candace Twance, who created "Mother & Child" based on her original painting in the Woodland style, is an Anishnaabe artist from Pic Mobert First Nation along the north shore of Lake Superior. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Lakehead University and currently lives in Thunder Bay.
Kristen Wall was born in Thunder Bay and grew up in the rural outskirts of the city. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Lakehead University, and owns and operates Gallery 33, a local art gallery. Kristen created original art for her colouring pages: Sleeping Giant, Kakabeka Falls, Persian, Lake Superior and City Doodle. She teaches classes for both adults and children.
