  1. The Interior Plains • The interior plains are a vast and sweep plain but not completely flat.  •  The land is composed of gently rolled hills and river valleys •  The interior plains run through the Appalachina mountains located in the east side of the United states and the Rocky mountains on the west side of Canada. • The interior plains stretch from the Atlantic ocean to the gulf of Mexico.

  2. Vegetation •  Before, Mississippi's central lowland was covered mixed with short-living trees and scattered evergeen trees. •  The west of Mississippi prairie grasses grew as tall as an average person. • natural vegetation of the Canadian prairie was grassland. • trees only grew only in river valleys. •  the northern part of the interior plains, boreal forests grow, gradually becoming tundra towards the Arctic ocean.

  3. Climate In The Interior Plane Region         The climate in The Interior planes varies thoughout the    year. But the weather in the Interior planes is always good for        farming wheat and corn. During the summers the weather can get between 10-30 degrees on estimation. the winters are cold, -10-  -30 degrees on estimation. The Interior plains are most likely to get the most sunshine in all of canada.

  4.     Topography of Interior Plains     The topography of the Interior Plains looks something like a vacuum cleaner. It is about 4000 km from the northern down to the southern atmosphere and about 600-1500 metres above sea level. It is divided into the Central Lowland and the Great Plains in US. There are three different elevations. All three are separated by escarpments, so the plains are gently rolling, gradually sloping down from west to east. Heading towards the northern prairies, the Interior Plains lead to the Arctic Ocean.

  5. Global warming Effects on the Interior Plain Region     The people who live in the Interior plains polute the imterior with                               their farming techneques. The soil fertilizer polutes the ground and releasing gases into the air. They have noticed what they have been causing using their farming fertilizers and the elctricity, and becuase they get the most sun in Canada (on average) they swithced to solar power.
