When you have musical genes like Gwen Stefani, there’s no chance you won’t end up being a little bit musical. With your mom being Stefani, your dad being Gavis Rossdale, and your stepdad being Blake Shelton, it’s no wonder Kingston is already so musical!
In fact, Stefani talked to Jimmy Kimmel recently about how impressive Kingston’s musical skills are.
“You would be freaked out. This kid is such a good songwriter, and out of nowhere. We were like, ‘You’re lying. You didn’t write that,’” she beamed, discussing the night Kingston performed on stage back in Aug 2023 at Shelton’s bar. “It was really exciting, and it’s weird, ’cause even last night he was playing for us, and I was like, ‘Wow.’ It’s mind-blowing.”
She added, “You don’t know what your kids are going to do, and then all of a sudden, they find themselves, and you’re like ‘Wow.'”

In case you need a refresher, Stefani shares three sons with her ex-husband Rossdale named Kingston, born in May 2006, Zuma, born in Aug 2008, and Apollo, born in Feb 2014.
And in a rare interview with People, Stefani talked about how being a mother to teenagers, she wants to make sure they feel as though they can relax at home and feel comfortable to do what they want to do. “When my kids were teenagers, I really wanted to make sure that I was home for them — and here we are,” she said.
