Thomas Hardy’s Ale The Historical 2017 boasts all the rich fig and plum, tobacco and old leather tones you’ll find in the classic version. It also features the same soft, chewy, silky body full of bitter orange and honey notes and a complex chestnut wood sharpness that rounds off the tasting effortlessly. Add to this an oaky, smoky Whisky barrel note and you have a truly exquisite beer. The only difficulty is deciding whether to enjoy it now, or wait for it to age even further…
