The Sicamous Channel will be closed intermittently later this month to allow work to be done on the Bruhn Bridge project.

On July 19, BC Hydro will be facilitating line relocation to allow the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure access to the bridge.

On that day, BC Hydro expects there will be about seven closures of the channel, lasting 10-15 minutes each between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

BC Hydro will reach out to marines and boat rental businesses to notify them of the work and will be on site to assist.
