SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Saint John, N.B., has made CNN Travel's list of best travel destinations in 2024.

The seaport city is the only Canadian destination to be named on CNN's annual list published on Jan. 2, alongside 23 other places worldwide, including West Australia, Turkey, Estonia and Puerto Rico.

"This charming little city is an excellent base from which to enjoy the nearby Bay of Fundy, famed for having the world's highest tides," reads the article.

It features historic architecture, the Saint John City Market, Saint John Arts Centre and Carnegie Building, and accommodation options, including seaside cottages, hotels, motels and historic inns.
