Nenad Zimonjic and Tian Tian Sun claimed the Australian Mixed Doubles title after a straight-sets victory over Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupati in Melbourne.
Fifth seeds Zimonjic and Sun saw off the Indian duo 7-6 (7/4) 6-4 as the Serbian and the 2004 Olympic women's double champion recorded their first grand slam success.
Both pairs broke their opponents' serve twice as the opening set swung back and forth before Zimonjic and Sun fought back from 3-0 down in the tiebreak to take the upper hand.
They then broke Mirza and Bhupati in the first game of the second set and the Indians could not find a way back into the match as Zimonjic and Sun closed out victory.
