Sesleria autumnalis (Autumn Moor Grass)

Sesleria autumnalis is a hardy and showy perennial grass that grows in neat clumps of bright green to yellow foliage. This grass shows blooms and bright white feathery panicles in summer. It is the winner of the Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society, and is an excellent choice for borders, ground cover, erosion control, banks, slopes, mass planting and various other forms of ornamental landscaping. This grass prefers well-draining soils and is easy to grow. It is pest resistant, disease resistant, and hardy to -15°F when protected from windchill. Give it full sun if possible, but it will be okay with partial shade. Watch for this attractive grass to reach about 2' tall x 2' wide.
