Description


Here is the dorsal view for the Defiant class starship. Quite noticeable is the issue I mentioned in the aft view schematic. Since the hull of the ship is composed of many different coloured areas, which I presume to be some sort of plating or cover plates, when the colour is removed the result is an amalgamation of lines that may cast confusion as to the actual contour of the hull.

Very nice work, the different colours could be a form of confusing camoflague. Which might seem odd in space, but in WWII ships painted in lots of different greys would confuse U Boat captains trying to sink them because it wasnt obvious which way they were headed from a distance.

Well, if they wanted to camouflage a ship in space, all they have to do is paint it in non-reflective black.
