Shu Qi Wore Alberta Ferretti To The 2023 Venice Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Shu Qi attended the opening ceremony of the 2023 Venice International Film Festival this evening (August 30) as a member of the international jury.

The Taiwanese actress wore an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2023 look which some might find slightly underwhelming for the occasion.

Yes.  This is much more subdued in comparison to Caterina Murino’s opening look, but as you know, there are some actresses who tone down their looks when they are part of the jury, so they don’t distract attention away from the stars of the film.

I would say that was Shu’s M.O. on this occasion, as she’s not adverse to making a dramatic statement on the red carpet.

Personally, I prefer this ensemble on Shu with the lined skirt, as it adds another layer of elegance to the look.
