With the sale of her Vaucluse family home settled last week, radio star Jackie O has hit the inspection trail looking for her new abode.
The recent sale of the five-bedroom house, for $6.675 million to Hayley Symon, brings to an end Jackie’s 18-year marriage to Lee Henderson. They announced their “amicable” separation in October 2018. Now that the sale is final, she looks ready to move on.

‘Honeymoon’ prices for collapsing homes
She told Kyle and Jackie O show listeners on Tuesday she had been attending inspections.
“I was doing an inspection the other day and I needed to do a wee, is that OK?” she asked with a laugh.
Eastern suburbs agents have all heard Jackie O is looking in the area, and we presume she has enlisted the help of the agent who sold her Vaucluse home, Gavin Rubinstein of Ray White TRG. But one source, who did not want to be named, told Property Confidential he does not believe she has officially enlisted an agent in her househunting endeavours yet.
“I think she’s flying solo right now, I don’t think she has taken on an agent yet,” he said. “I think that’s a little unusual but that’s what I’ve heard.”
He added that she is looking to stay in Vaucluse. Last September she missed out on a Vaucluse home she was keen to buy, which sold for $5.86 million.
She will have to contend with more competition as she looks for her new home, with agents anticipating a strong winter market now restrictions have eased allowing group open inspections and on-site auctions once again.
“There are a lot of buyers out there looking,” Laing and Simmons Double Bay’s Steven Zoellner said. “June will be the March we didn’t have.”
