Summer Holidays Poem by Sebastian Melmoth

Summer Holidays

The start of my summer holidays seems like an age before we go back to school or work.
Relax, enjoy the freedom that lies ahead and pray for sunny weathers.
Plan all the great things you want to achieve and do, camping, day trips, having fun in the back yard or going to the zoo.
Resurrect the faithful Barbecue that's seen better days, sausages burgers, salads, fish and chips on sandy haze.
Time flies when we are on our Summer Holidays.
Buckets, spades, perhaps one to many, blink and the time draws near, spending every penny.
Counting how many sticks of rock, ice creams, cakes we have eaten, plus how many flies, mosquito we have beaten.
We reminisce at the end of our summer holidays, the memories that stick with us forever and forever.
