Paul Cadmus | Life and artworks

A native of New York City, Paul Cadmus 1904-1999 had an early fascination with the art of the Italian Renaissance a period that is the foundation of all classical art as we know it today, a period that had rediscover the fundamental principles of human figurative geometry. Paul Cadmus studied and perfected these principals earnestly and this can be seen in all of his beautiful and sensitive depictions of his male models later in his career.
