The Canadian lumberjack crew will not be performing at Epcot after Tuesday, Walt Disney World officials have confirmed.

Starting Friday, that stage will be home to the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs as part of the theme park’s holiday offerings.

The lumberjack act, which started at Epcot in October 2014, featured four flannel-clad competitors vying in outdoorsy competitions such as ax throwing and speed sawing. It will not return after the holidays, a Disney spokeswoman said. A year-round replacement was not announced.

The show, presented multiple times a day, was seen on the Mill Stage of Epcot’s World Showcase. A small pool had been added to the performance area to include live log-rolling competitions.

The lumberjacks took over the stage that had been used by Off Kilter, a “celtic rock” band that had performed at Epcot for 17 years.

In another Epcot entertainment change, an acoustical group called Quickstep will debut in the United Kingdom on Wednesday. It takes the slot previously inhabited by the Paul McKenna Band.

The changes are part of Disney’s regular review of its entertainment offerings, the spokeswoman said.
