Biography: Kirsten Dunst is an American actress who began her career as a child model and actress at age 3. Dunst's breakthrough came in 1994 when she starred as the child vampire Claudia in "Interview with the Vampire" opposite Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, earning a Golden Globe nomination at age 11.

As a child, Dunst had other notable roles in films like "Little Women" (1994) and "Jumanji" (1995). She transitioned to teen roles in the late 1990s, including "The Virgin Suicides" (1999) directed by Sofia Coppola. Dunst's starring role as Mary Jane Watson in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man" trilogy (2002-2007) brought her widespread fame.

Dunst subsequently earned critical acclaim for her performance in Lars von Trier's "Melancholia" (2011), winning Best Actress at Cannes. She has also collaborated repeatedly with Sofia Coppola, starring in "Marie Antoinette" (2006) and "The Beguiled" (2017).
