Hellverse - Samael, the angel of death

Painting based on my character Samael from my Hellverse books. I re imagined the concept of death, the classic Grim Reaper, to be an alien hiding amongst a race of self proclaimed angles and who happens to be the twin brother of the devil, Azrael (Lucifer/Hades/Satan). Part of his design is that his scythe is a living tool as well. There is no "God" in this series. Just demons and aliens.
