This Stunning Waterfall In Alberta Is Ridiculously Easy To Find This Spring

The easiest waterfall "hike" ever!
Staff Writer

Is your idea of hell hiking up a mountain for hours? We get it; spending time outdoors isn't for everyone. There are bugs and poison ivy to worry about, let alone bears. Unfortunately, many of the most breathtaking natural wonders require a trek through the forest to reach them. But we just found an insane waterfall in Alberta you can see even if you hate the outdoors.

The next time you are looking for something to do, you need to discover Lundbreck Falls. It is a two-hour drive from Calgary and is simply breathtaking.

The waterfall plummets 39 feet into a deep canyon and looks like a mini Niagara Falls. Best of all, it is super easy to visit.

To get there, you can park right next to the natural wonder. Even without leaving the lot, you'll be able to enjoy the view.

Though, if you walk just a few steps further, there are several viewing platforms nearby where you enjoy a panoramic lookout. The entire route from your car to the lookout will take seconds, and it is flat the whole way.

Once you arrive from your arduous hike you can quickly get a selfie and then head back to your car and turn on the air conditioning.

For those of you who are feeling adventurous, it is also possible to walk for a few minutes down to the limestone gorge to get a closer look.

Just steps from the parking lot, this is a waterfall that's so easy to get to but it looks like something you'd find after a half-day trek through the wilderness.

While camping might not be for you, it is also possible to camp at Lundbreck Falls Provincial Recreation Area for cheap too.

From Thursday, May 14 to Thursday, September 7, 2020, you can book a campsite for just $23.00 a night.

The budget-friendly camping is conveniently on a trail so you can visit the falls, and next to a spot on the Crowsnest River where you can go swimming too.
